Oakwood Glamping Pod 3

About This Accommodation

Located in Joyce country Geo Park Connemara Ireland and only 12 minutes from Westport on the N59 towards Clifden. Sleeps three. With one bunk and two single beds. A really relaxing place to spend a night or two. If this pod is not available our two bed pod may still be. (Go to other properties by this owner). 20 minutes from Connemara National Park. There is about 20 steps up to the pod. There is a separate unit beside pods with 2 showers and 2 compost toilets and sink with drinking water.

The space

This glamping pod is an ideal retreat to relax and unwind for a romantic few days or just to chill with your thoughts and guitar. The views are spectacular of all the mountain ranges. It is located close to the main lodge but far enough to have your own space. You will be cosy here even in freezing winter. It sleeps three guests with one bunk and two singles. These can be pulled together if you wish to make a double. We are just twelve minutes away from the beautiful town of Westport and fifteen minutes from the nearest beach. The mountains are right beside us and some great walks to off the beaten track places. Parking is right near the pod and there is steps up to the pod with lighting for your safety. The pods come with sheets and duvets.
You will need to bring your own towels.
We dont have cooking area here yet but you can use the bbq (charcoal). And bench available to prepare meals.

Guest access

The pod and near by woodland. Please don’t inquire at the lodge or ring the door bell as guests may be present. Please follow instructions listed here for your pod. And if in doubt contact Michael on his mobile phone. Showers and compost toilets are next to the pod in a separate unit. (Each toilet corresponds to the pod you are staying in. ie pod 2 or pod 3.)Green unit. This is a small shower unit with 2 showers and two compost toilets. There are no flush toilets as we are trying to be as eco friendly as possible.

Other things to note

We have a shower and compost toilet unit right next to the pod. Guests can help themselves to the herb garden when in season. the Wifi is available but may not be to the speed you are accostom to. Remember you come here to relax so switch off your phone and chill.
